“This turned out way better than I could have ever imagined” is what Samuel said as we were finishing up family photos and walking into the sunset for a few couple captures before the reception started.  I really enjoy watching people throughout their wedding day and just seeing their happiness grow as the day progresses and they see all their planning and preparation become a reality.  I also love just being a part of helping their day run smooth and making it fun and helping the couple feel relaxed, so they can take it all in.  It’s not just pushing a button, as I’m sure most people know, by now.  Wedding photography takes a certain amount of people skills, memory, and dare I say “stamina” along with knowing technically how to work a lot of equipment and being uber-creative all at the same time  🙂  It’s a challenge and I love it.

Zoe and Samuel’s wedding party was from all over the U.S.  Zoe is a  hometown girl from right here in Batavia and met Samuel in a ballroom dance class at Covenant College.  It was very obvious how much their friends and family care for them and love them and I hope we captured that adoration in their faces and the joy of the day.  It was beautiful.  Thank you for choosing us to photograph your wedding.  It was truly amazing and memorable.
