Jim and Jillian were very lucky on their wedding day.  I say this because they had planned a patio wedding ceremony and they were predicting rain for Chicagoland the entire day and pretty much everyone was rained out that day except Geneva, IL.  This was lucky.  The only rain Jim and Jillian had was for a very, very short period from around 5:00-5:03.  They were scheduled to get married at 5:00, and just as the parents started to walk down the aisle and Jim was ready to receive his bride,…..here comes the rain.  They didn’t let it stop their love story, though, and Jillian just accepted an umbrella from a generous guest and walked down the aisle to marry Jim.  It stopped as soon as it started, but it made for a super memorable moment.  They DO say it’s lucky if you have rain on your wedding day, so J and J were blessed with lots of luck.  🙂  Thank you, J and J, for letting us photograph this lovely day.

Jim surprised the guys by letting them in on the news that he and Jillian were building a new house.
