I just love a great family portrait. Particularly when I can somehow get my family together, happy, clean, and enjoying themselves in front of the camera. I’m always grabbing my hubby and two kids for a picture here and there in hopes of capturing not necessarily a smile, but a second in time or maybe that one character trait or the way someone holds their hands or a book…….It’s not as easy as it sounds with my family, because they have developed the habit of “not again, Mom”. I can’t help myself and I always tell myself (cuz it’s true) they will thank me when they’re older. How much older? I don’t know, but I know they’ll thank me.
Here’s one of my favorite shoots from October BB (Before Blog).
HeatherI love the black and white pictures. I have to remember to try that. All of the photos are lovely – as always Missy!
LauraYour pictures always inspire me to remember that family photos do NOT always have to include everyone looking the same direction, with the perfect smile on each face (nearly impossible with 3 kids, I can attest!). Love the artistic quality of your pictures!
