Elite Photo photographed this Heritage Prairie Farm wedding on a beautiful summer day with blue skies and even bluer wildflowers.
Get married under a giant old tree, sign your marriage license in the farmhouse kitchen, champagne toast, and a bubble exit onto your green lawn cocktail hour while the sun sets? Who wouldn’t adore having or attending a country wedding like this? It was the perfect day for a charming and elegant backyard wedding at the always picturesque Heritage Prairie Farm in Elburn, Illinois.
The bride, Sarah, wore an elegant Pronovias gown with a cathedral length veil juxtaposed with her wildflower-like bouquet of blue and gold florals. Her girls all wore mismatched colors of gray and blue long flowy gowns. The guys were on point in their gray suits and navy ties for a fresh, tailored look.
The details were from the heart. The bride’s Mother, Stephanie, painted the flowers for the invitations and table numbers and Sarah designed the invitations herself.
The couple was married behind the old farmhouse in the lawn under a giant old tree. They each wrote their own vows and Sarah’s girls were a beautiful mess of tears throughout it all. The couple spent a few quiet moments after the ceremony in the farmhouse kitchen before a bubble exit through all of their friends and family onto a lawn of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Whether you’re a foodie or a burgers and fries type of dinner guest, everyone is in for a treat at this farm to table venue. Delectables included chicken and biscuit apps, brie and apple mac and cheese at dinner, and a late night taco bar. And the sweets were all too pretty to eat. Amazing creations by a friend of the couple included custom cookies at the sweets table and sugar flowers on their simple, white wedding cake.
Thank you to this couple for choosing Elite Photo to photograph this amazing Heritage Prairie Farm wedding day and their beautiful engagement session. Enjoy!
I also want to say how excited I am this wedding was recently published in Mywedding.com. Yay!
