This Acquaviva Winery wedding day was a triple threat mix of elegance, romance, and lots and lots of fun. I knew this wedding was going to be a lot of fun as soon as I walked into the bridal suite and the girls were all bustling around to a mix of fun dance/party music. Michelle and Connor were married outside the winery pool house in front of the sprawling acres of the vineyard. To the west of the ceremony was an apple orchard, so there was no lack of ambiance during the couple’s vows. The couple wrote their own and Connor had to take a minute (or two, or three) to compose himself while he read them to Michelle. The laughter and tears were a plenty throughout the crowd.
The girls where in beautiful wine colored gowns and carried colorful autumn bouquets accented with grapevine loops. The guys in the party had on sharp bluish gray suits that matched the amazing sky that day. The boutonnieres matched the girls bouquets with an accent of a fun beer bottle cap on each. Matching suspenders made for cool dancing photos later.
The reception hall was decked out by friends of the family. Each guest was treated to a bottle of dark or blonde root beer as well as a succulent in a glass jar as a party favor at the end of the night.
The Acquaviva Winery is definitely a beautiful outdoors wedding venue. One of my favorite parts of the day was the quiet time we took with the bride and groom just before sunset to take a walk through the vineyard.
