This beautiful couple just celebrated their 5 year anniversary with an amazing gift of a new baby girl.  I am so thankful to have been there to capture this exciting moment in time for them.  Thank you to one of my favorite couples, Sarah and Adam, for telling them about me.

The day was quite dreary, but due to a very busy schedule of a family with a new baby and an energetic 3-year old, we had already rescheduled once, so it was a go for this Friday morning lifestyle portrait session.  I spent the morning following them around and just “being” with them in their beautiful new home.  I like to just let things unfold and become what they are.  Their older daughter was so adorable and spunky and had her own plans for the day, as most 3-year-olds do.   She even decided to pick her own clothes at the end.  She likes dresses and didn’t want to be in pants.  I know the feeling.  I’d wear a dress 24 hours a day if I could too.

A favorite moment was when Ryan found a spider and showed it to Isla.  She was so curious.  It reminded me of when my daughter was younger and she would trust anything with 6 or more legs to crawl all over her.
